Maria da Graça Meneghel, better known as Xuxa Meneghel is a Brazilian presenter, singer, actress and businesswoman, born in Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul, on March 27, 1963, she began her career as a model and dancer, before becoming a children's program presenter.
The tall, blue-eyed blonde created a striking feature by tying her hair divided into two ponytails, one on each side at the top of her head. This has become so strong that mothers are automatically talking about putting little rubs on their daughters' hair.

Career as a presenter
Her career as a children's program presenter began with Clube da Criança on TV Manchete, in 1983.
In 1986, Xuxa moved to TV Globo, where he presented the program “Xou da Xuxa” for six years, becoming a huge success among children and young people of the time, all over the world. The program was shown simultaneously not only in Brazil, but also in the United States, Spain and Argentina.
He released a series of DVDs such as “Xuxa just for shorties”, with several clips of interactions with his songs among many other children's songs.
In 1997 Xuxa launched a new program, more aimed at teenagers called “Planeta Xuxa”, in addition to running the children's program “Xuxa Park” shown until 2001. In 2005 Xuxa debuted a new format, TV Xuxa, which would then be replaced on TV Globinho.
In 2015, Xuxa left TV Globo and moved to Rede Record, where he took over a program for adults, “Xuxa Meneghel”, with interviews, reports, emotion, humor and musical attractions.
In 2017 he presented the program Dancing Brasil, which he ran until 2020, when he decided not to renew his contract with the broadcaster.

His performance was always lively and dancing with his paquitas, each one was known by an affectionate nickname and helped the children memorize the choreography of the songs. All the little ones anxiously awaited the schedules of animated cartoons of the 80s, writing many letters that the blonde dove between them to draw.
The presenter encouraged children to be healthier by holding fun exercise classes with music and having breakfast with the children, leaving the lipstick mark on the children's special kiss, which she also transferred to the camera. It also conveyed positive messages such as “Want, be able and achieve”.
When the children's participation ended, she always asked, “Who do you want to blow a kiss to”? And the answer was “I want to send a kiss to my father, my mother and you”.

From 1997 to 2002 she dated Luciano Szafir, father of her daughter Sasha Meneghel. And in 2012 he started dating Junno Andrade, with whom he is still with today.
Life as a businesswoman
In parallel to her career as a presenter, she also began to invest in her career as a businesswoman, creating Xuxa Produções and launching licensed products under her name.
The “Fundação Xuxa Meneghel” also built its institute to offer various social actions to those most in need. Through it, it closed several partnerships to increase the reach of its solidarity.
Xuxa realized the dream of a closed theme amusement park in São Paulo called “O mundo da Xuxa”, sold in 2008 and transformed into “Parque da Mônica”. And a children's party buffet chain, “Casa X”.

Navio da Xuxa
To celebrate its 60th birthday, Xuxa organized a themed cruise called “Navio da Xuxa”. The event took place from March 24th to 27th with shows, activities and games for children and adults, as well as musical attractions and the presence of other artists.
